Peter Levine is a filmmaker born and raised in the Bay Area. A writer and director for film and television, Peter graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cornell University, studying “The Aesthetics of Visual Storytelling” within a selective independent major program as a College Scholar. He wrote and directed a thesis film titled “Remembering Colin Stall” and wrote an academic thesis, “Does The End Justify The Means?: The Toxic Masculinity Encoded in Auteurism.”
Peter hopes to pursue a career in filmmaking as a writer and director. He aspires to tell compelling stories that awaken the child within himself and others while directing attention to worlds previously unimagined. During his undergraduate education, Peter had the opportunity to write and direct three short films, collaborating with a network of students, faculty, and industry-professional colleagues to produce quality work. His latest film, “Remembering Colin Stall,” pushed Cornell’s filmmaking department to new heights. It was made with a $25,000 budget and a fully fleshed out farmhouse set.
